On a clear day, the view extends as far as the burial chapel on the Württemberg hill and Solitude Palace.

Korntal's station once held great importance, as was evident at its inauguration. In 1865, the Württemberg state parliament had decided to build the Black Forest Railway from Stuttgart through the Strohgäu region to Calw. The section from Zuffenhausen via Korntal to Ditzingen was completed in 1868, and the Korntal station opened on September 23 of that year.

An idyllic path with magnificent views that extend from Feuerbach, to the Stuttgart TV Tower, across to Engelberg, and, on a clear day, all the way to the Neckar Valley. While each season has its own charm, it is autumn, with its vibrant colors, that offers the most beautiful views.
