The Hintereck-Hütte has been closed since October 2025 due to a lack of tenants, but there is a drinks station with reasonable prices and a fountain in front of it. I would avoid the descent on the Wäldersteig to the parking lot when it's wet.

A very nice little farm shop with self-service and a cash register. In the fridge, I saw a shandy, ham, and trout lilets, among other things. It's also a great place for a break. Cows greet you, and the road runs along a bridge, so you can't/don't have to hear them.

The church has three beautiful carved altarpieces. It's worth a visit. The back door is open.
