The castle cannot be visited because, as the previous writers have already reported, it has been a home for the elderly since the 1970s. When I was young, there was also mass on Sundays in the chapel. The park is very beautiful and can also be visited.

In 1452 the bishop of Seckau lent the courtyard located at this point as a fief to Jörg von Fladnitz. In 1634 the building was named Lebrerhof zu Lebring and was owned by the Cistercian Rein monastery. From 1728 to 1732 Countess Maria Katharina zu Saurau, b. Countess Breuner from Rein Abbey built this estate and expanded it with her brother Ferdinand Karl Graf von Breuner into a stately home. After numerous changes of ownership over the decades, the palace and the associated park were dedicated to the Leibnitz Welfare Association, which redesigned the building into a district nursing home. From 2006 to 2007 the castle was extensively renovated and converted into a senior citizens' home with 16 residential units
