The former teachers' college (also called Pädagogium) dates back to 1875. It later served as the Johannes Bugenhagen Gymnasium until 2008. The two-story, three-wing, historicist U-shaped building with a central gable projection, a mezzanine floor, and a cornice with a frieze-like ornamentation was built in 1875 as a teacher's college training center for elementary school teachers. A rear extension complements the complex. The central building housed classrooms, an auditorium, and a kitchen in over 100 rooms, while the two side wings housed the teachers' families. The portal, the main entrance, is supported by red sandstone columns. The entrances to the teachers' apartments have verandas. The building has been vacant since the summer of 2008 and is to be sold. The ornate brick surrounding wall is also a listed building. https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lehrerseminar_(Franzburg) (Unfortunately, I didn't manage to get a suitable photo.)
