That sounds like a fun, moderately challenging hike near Long Marston! The description reminds me of that feeling of gliding down a long slope after a good climb. Anyone else getting winter vibes? It almost makes me want to try something like Snow Rider 3D to get that adrenaline rush while waiting for the snow to fall! The need for good basic fitness definitely resonates – getting prepped for those inclines is key to enjoying the views at the top. snowriderfree.com

This hike sounds like a great mix of challenge and scenery! The moderate difficulty and varied terrain remind me of navigating through different levels in Fnaf—except here, you’re rewarded with fresh air and nature instead of jump scares. 😄 How was the view from Bidford Bridge? Would love to hear more details! https://fnafgamefree.com

The church isn't level inside! It's well worth popping in. The VE Day memorial is very well done and worth a closer look.

Although the route suggested by Komoot was good there were some problems in the wooded section between the two railway crossings. The path was closed and therefore needed to find a detour.

Wandering in Warwickshire’s woodlands
Tocil Wood Nature Reserve is an ideal spot for woodland walks in Warwickshire thanks to its accessible nature, ancient trees and exquisite bluebell carpets in spring. Just south of Coventry, the forest dates back at least 400 years and likely far longer. A meadow, wetland and woodland can all be found here, including a wide variety of trees like oak, sycamore, ash and elder.
Hartshill Hayes Country Park is another lovely place for a stroll and its hilly terrain means you get beautiful views of the surrounding counties for your effort. This vibrant woodland up in the very north of the county is alive with birdsong in spring and summer.
Some of the best hiking trails in Warwickshire’s woodlands will take you on a meandering exploration of the historic Ryton Wood. You’ll find plenty of criss-crossing paths here under ancient trees where the only thing to disturb the peace is birdsong. Ryton Wood is spectacular in spring when primrose, anemone and bluebells light up the forest floor.

Lapworth in the south is the kind of rural area that will steal your heart and give you one of the most blissful days of walking you could imagine.
