St. Nicholas' Church was originally an early Gothic building from the 13th century, but was thoroughly renovated and redecorated in 1654, 1720, and 1837. This resulted in a classicist church with a Gothic central tower. Around the church, in addition to the War Memorial, you will also find several contemporary statues, including those of Reynaert de Vos, Father Damien, and the floral artwork "Flower Lovers."

Since the summer of 2020, a new viewing tower has risen above the Living Heritage Park. You climb 15 meters high via a steel fire escape to a platform above the winding pond, which offers a panoramic view of the popular recreational area. There was also a real landscape park, with an experience park, suspension bridge, barefoot path and grazing animals. The tower is located on the Putjeshoekdam near junction 9 of the Moervaartvallei walking network. Source: https://www.routen.be/levend-erfgoedpark-wandelroute
