Lago della Paglia is a small natural lake located in the municipality of Fagnano Castello, in the province of Cosenza, Calabria. It is located on the slopes of Mount Caloria, in the Calabrian Coastal Chain, at an altitude of about 964 meters above sea level.

Sangineto, located at 275 meters above sea level in the Pollino National Park, is a village in the Middle Tyrrhenian Cosentino. The convent of San Daniele Fasanella, founded in 1595 by the Capuchin friars, served as a center of study and novitiate. During the Aragonese dominion, it was strengthened with defensive walls and crenellated towers. Today it is a national monument and represents a notable example of medieval architecture in Calabria.
