A lovely restaurant right on the lake shore at Klosterweiher. Perfect for a well-deserved meal or coffee break with views over the water. Check opening hours before arriving.

The inn is highly recommended. Note on the bus service: it has been discontinued since 2024 due to cost-cutting measures. The nearest bus stop on weekends is on Triberger Straße in Schonach, about 2.5 km away (note for hikers on the 7th stage of the Westweg: you only have to walk downhill). Bus 550 runs from there to Triberg train station, which connects to the Black Forest Railway.

Not only is the view down to the village of Rohrbach, which has a population of 400 and is particularly notable for the village church, but the whole area around you is also charming. It's really beautiful here in the Black Forest.
