The bridge is quite curvy. There's even a roundabout on the north side.

The St. Martin's Cathedral in Rottenburg am Neckar is the cathedral of the Diocese of Rottenburg-Stuttgart. It is consecrated to Saint Martin of Tours. The Church of St. Eberhard in Stuttgart is a co-cathedral. Around 1280, an early Gothic Chapel of Our Lady was built on Rottenburg's market square. The parish church was still located in the village of Sülchen outside the town and was consecrated to St. Martin. From 1424 onwards, a Gothic town parish church replaced the chapel on the market square. Its name and patronage, St. Martin, were adopted from the Sülchen church. This three-aisled basilica had an irregular floor plan, as the street layout had to be taken into account during construction, and the base of the Romanesque tower was preserved, which still protrudes into the choir of the church today. At the same time, the most significant work of art in the church, the late Gothic, perforated tower spire, was created. The 58-meter-high tower remains a landmark of the town to this day. The town fire of 1644 necessitated a fundamental reconstruction, which was completed with the church consecration by Georg Sigismund Müller, auxiliary bishop of Constance and a native of Rottenburg, on September 8, 1655. On this occasion, the church was baroqueized, the columns were reinforced, and a barrel vault was installed. The asymmetrical floor plan was retained. In 1821, a diocese was founded for the Kingdom of Württemberg, and Rottenburg, as the town with the highest Catholic population, was designated as the bishop's seat. Against the resistance of the first bishop, Johann Baptist von Keller, St. Martin's parish church was elevated to a bishop's church, but at the same time remained the town's parish church as before. Due to its architectural irregularities and small size, it was considered unworthy of a bishop's church. However, all plans for a new building have failed to materialize to this day. The cathedral was renovated between 1998 and 2002 by Rottenburg architect Johannes Manderscheid, and the cathedral sacristy was newly furnished.
