A beautiful lighthouse perfect for photos. The surrounding dunes are perfect for sandclimbing.

Cycling around the fjord makes for a beautiful day trip. You'll ride mostly on firm sand tracks, along small roads, or on dedicated cycle paths. And in many places, you'll be pedaling right next to the fjord, crossing the Skjern Enge nature reserve. For a change of pace, there are two spots where you'll have to use your own power to cross the water on a cable ferry.

A very nice day trip destination for the whole family; you can visit the lighthouse (but there is an entrance fee).

Well, the bridge connecting the fjord and the sea isn't spectacular—more of a bottleneck than a highlight. But it's still beautiful to look at!

Some people are trying vehemently to demand their echo here, but the tunnel is too short for that😉

Unfortunately, it's not possible to get all the way up there by bike...from above you get a great view of the surrounding area, as well as the lake and fjord!
