Today the Kriehmühle is a tourist inn that offers regional specialties such as trout and natural sourdough bread. The Kriehmühle is also a popular starting point for hikes along the Feldaist, which offers a beautiful natural and cultural landscape.

In some places along the Feldaist you can see glacial stones that were transported here from the glaciers during the Ice Age. These stones are often very large and have a rounded shape. They consist of different types of rock that do not occur in the region, such as granite or gneiss. The glacier stones bear witness to the geological history of this landscape and offer interesting sights for hikers and nature lovers
