The watchtower "Torre de Güi", also known as the Guil Tower or Morche Tower, is visible from afar. The tower guard's job was to send light signals to Vélez-Málaga in the event of danger, in order to warn the residents of the castle there of attacks. The watchtower, first mentioned in documents in 1497, is about 25 metres high, has a conical shape and is 9 metres high. It was the first watchtower to be built in Torrox and still has its stucco façade in the Mudéjar style.

The Aqueduct del Águila is a truly impressive structure. It was built in the 19th century (1879-1880) to transport water from the Barranco de Coladilla river to a sugar cane factory in the area. The structure features four-storey arches in a neo-Moorish style reminiscent of Andalusian architecture. It remains a local landmark today and a popular destination for visitors who come to enjoy both the architecture and the views. Although the aqueduct is no longer used in its original function, it is a significant example of the engineering of its time.
