As the description on the small sign also states: A small watchman's hut built on its foundations in the 1970s. Among others, based on the designs of Imre Makovecz. The small building is in excellent condition and is clearly well-maintained. When I visited, candles were also burning inside. The surroundings are a typical forest rest area with benches. Nearby, not far away, a forest children's playground. It's also not far from the asphalt road, a few hundred meters away, reachable with an easy walk.

Pap-rét is a forest junction in Pilis, where we can also find a Rest House and a Hunting Lodge. But there is also an OKT seal and a Horizont Online sealing point here. There may be problems with the latter, since the signal strength is pretty much: nothing. You have to search for the signal for long minutes under the open sky, where we will have signal strength and can seal. Some do not even work (the service provider selects). In any case, the problem must be reported to the Horizont operators, and photographic evidence must be provided to prove that we were present in space and time.

A great cycling route that crosses Szentendre. Its uniqueness is given by the Bükkös Stream itself, next to which the cycle path runs quietly.

It is located between Szentendre and Pap-rét, in the Ókúti Valley, next to the Király-völgyi Road. An excellent asphalt road, which is a popular route for tourists and cyclists. Its history: It dates back to the time of Governor Horthy: it was a garage on his private estate, used to store his car. A beautifully renovated building, now used as a rain shelter, with benches next to it.

In the Apátkúti Valley, a fishing lake fed by the Apátkúti Stream, which has become a popular place for families because of the trout that can be caught. Even children can fish in the small lake here, with rental rods. The fish caught is weighed and either fried in the nearby Ördögmalom Csárda or taken home. Of course, we pay a fee for everything, but the experience is great. All this in a very beautiful environment, we can organize a small tour from Visegrád.
