On the right bank of the Enz, in front of the high Wobach rock face, about 300m upstream from the railway viaduct, there has been a walkable landscape model since the 1989 State Garden Show, featuring the rocks of the South German Scarpland. On a geological journey through time, one gains insights into the course of life on Earth, the origin and structure of the Scarpland, as well as the life world of the Muschelkalk sea.

Built in the 13th century, St. Stephen's Church in Kieselbronn is surrounded by a double ring wall, revealing a part of its history at first glance. As a fortified church, it served as a refuge for parishioners and a storage place for valuables during times of war. The chancel tower with its arrow slits and the building's thick walls bear witness to this function. The "Gaden," a wooden story above the nave whose chambers served as storerooms, is also a typical feature of a fortified church. However, the Kieselbronn church's Gaden was dismantled during renovations at the end of the 18th century. At its entrance, the church is guarded by a massive figure of the Archangel Michael, holding a large sword.

A great road in itself. A bike path runs alongside it. Unfortunately, the road runs straight ahead, while the bike path zigzags 90° to 90° every 500 meters, and some of the tight curves are also covered in slippery gravel. The result: slow down to walking pace every 500 meters. So it's no wonder cyclists swerve onto the road where they can let it go.
