The so-called Horse Fountain, located on Hauptstraße in Niefern, was inaugurated on November 30, 2013. The idea for the fountain and its procurement came from Ulrich Kollmar. The sculpture featuring a rider and horse was designed by Berlin artist Bärbel Dieckmann.
