The Strib Odde Fyr lighthouse is picturesquely located on the Strib Odde peninsula near Strib on Funen. The first tower was built in 1883 as a six-meter-high iron tower. In 1900, it was replaced by the current white, square masonry tower with a height of 21 meters – as high as its flame.

The new Lillebælt Bridge was built between 1965 and 1970 and inaugurated on October 21, 1970. Subsequently, the new bridge relieved a large part of the road traffic from the old Lillebælt Bridge. The bridge has 6 lanes, is 1700 meters long, and the clearance under the bridge is 42 meters. It was built as a suspension bridge.

At Lillebæltsværft (Lillebæltswerft), volunteers keep a 150-year-old boat-building tradition alive. Clinker construction is UNESCO intangible cultural heritage, and here dinghies and wooden ships are still restored using the old method where the planks overlap.

KulturØen (The Culture Island) is a modern, architecturally interesting building, a feast for the eyes right on Middelfart's new harborfront. The Culture Island was designed by the renowned architectural firm Arkitekten Schmidt Hammer Lassen. Architect John Lassen and designer Lars Vejen were primarily responsible for the work. The building was constructed on an artificial island in the new harbor, the privately owned marina. The cladding is made of pre-patinated zinc. KulturØen opened in August 2005. The Culture Island houses a library, a 3D cinema, cafés, and the tourist information office. https://www.visitmiddelfart.de/middelfart/reiseplanung/kulturoen-die-kultur-insel-gdk614353

A magnificent hilltop location overlooking Gamborg Fjord. The church dates back to the 12th century – it is the oldest of the "four churches" and is considered the first church on Funen. It was renovated around the year 2000 in yellow and orange tones, which can be seen both in the floor tiles and in the wooden frame of the beautiful 16th-century woodcarving "Anna Selvtredje" from Claus Berg's workshop in Odense. www.4kirker.dk/vores-kirker/fons-kirke
