Hindsgavl Castle (Hindsgavl Slot) in Middelfart is a classy, highly rated, historic 4-star hotel that blends 18th-century grandeur with a modern Danish hotel design. We stayed here when we cycled around Denmark and walked in looking like drowned frogs. The staff couldn't be more helpful, and we were given every assistance that one could want. The rooms were comfortable, and the service was second to none. The evening meal was great, as was the first-class breakfast. All in all, a faultless stay.

The Old Lillebælt Bridge is located in the heart of Denmark, just a stone's throw from Fredericia. The bridge, often described as an architectural gem, was completed in 1935 and was the first fixed connection between Jutland and Funen. Today, the Lillebælt Bridge is an integral part of life around the Lillebælt, and daily, trains, cars, cyclists, and pedestrians cross the bridge, enjoying the beautiful view.
