A bench in the middle of a lush green meadow at the intersection of three roads: an ideal place to catch your breath before continuing your ride.

Some of the other paths are too overgrown to push a bike through unscathed.

if you get there late enough, it's a great place to stay overnight and see the sun set and rise.

Lovely pasties, proper flaky pastry, the lady stayed open for us even though she was just about to close. Early closing (1530) so check times.

Godolphin House is a 15th Century manor house that is now owned by the National Trust. As well as the remarkably well preserved house there are vast grounds and local walks to explore. The house itself maybe more famous now for being used in the original 1970s BBC series Poldark. https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/godolphin/features/godolphin-house

Godolphin Hill rises well above the lowlands of West Cornwall, providing some fantastic views over the unique beauty this part of the UK has to offer. It's definitely worth visiting on a clear day, as you'll be able to see all the way to St Michael's Mount and St Ives Bay

These are the remains of the engine house of the Leeds Shaft, part of the Great Work colliery, one of Cornwall's first and most famous mines. It started in 1538 and was located between Godolphin Hill and Tregonning Hill.
