The Kolberg lighthouse was rebuilt after the Second World War – i.e. after 1945. It stands on the right bank of the Persante river on the remains of Fort Münde, which was part of the Kolberg fortress. Its predecessor, a pilot house with a lighthouse, was destroyed at the end of the Second World War. The lighthouse is 90 meters high and has a surrounding gallery that is open to visitors. Its interior houses the Mineral Museum (Muzeum minerałów) and a restaurant.
