In 1939, there was a mill in Stare Brusno. The water probably cascaded here at first, and then formed a waterfall. An interesting, unusual place. If you're hiking nearby on the blue trail, it's worth detouring and taking a look.

Orthodox churches are usually beautiful and fascinating, but this one is exceptionally beautiful and interesting. It is a former Greek Catholic church built in the early 18th century. In 1987, it was added to the list of historical monuments and included in the Podkarpacie Wooden Architecture Trail.

It's worth stopping at the Freedom Monument in Nowe Brusno. Built to commemorate the tenth anniversary of Poland's regaining of independence in 1928, the eagle sculpture was unfortunately destroyed by Ukrainian nationalists during World War II. In its place, a stone cross, made in the 1960s, still stands. It's an interesting historical site.

When driving through the forest, it is worth being vigilant. You can miss the turnoff to the Quarry.

The steepest climb to Brusno - one of the highest elevations in Eastern Roztocze. In Horyniec Zdrój we head towards Nowiny Horynieckie and, leaving ul. Myśliwska, we pass the tracks, soon reaching a crossroads with a broken right-of-way. At this point we leave the main road, heading straight ahead and soon begin a not-so-long but demanding climb. The climb consists of two jumps. The first climb with a gradient of a few percent, after which the terrain profile gives up for a moment, and then forces us to reach for deeper reserves of energy. According to Strava data, the climb to Brusno from the Nowiny side is over 860 meters long with an average gradient of 7.8%. However, on short sections the bike computer shows the terrain profile entering the red scale and the measured values reaching almost 14%, which is why the climb (although short) can cause quite a burn in the legs and a very high pulse. A very nice drain to train in beautiful natural surroundings. Mount Brusno, although objectively not high, can be quite tiring when climbed from one side, from the other.
