Tips from the Community

Sylwia
March 14, 2025, Rezerwat przyrody Góra Miedzianka

The Miedzianka Mountains Nature Reserve is one of the most picturesque places in the Świętokrzyskie Mountains, famous for its limestone rocks and former ore mining. At the top of the mountain (356 m above sea level) there are remains of former shafts and adits, as well as viewpoints with a panorama of the surrounding hills and valleys. The reserve is a great place for lovers of geology, nature and history - you can see rare xerothermic plants and traces of copper mining dating back to ancient times. The routes lead through rocky paths, so it is worth having solid footwear. This is a great destination for cycling and hiking, combining the beauty of nature with the fascinating history of the region.

These ponds are also a nature reserve. It is the largest reserve of the Przedbórz Forest District. There are large, unforested peat bogs, 10 species of amphibians, 5 species of reptiles and a willow, a very rare species in Poland.

The highest natural elevation in the entire Łódź province. The peak is forested and unfortunately without views. But where does this name come from? No one really knows - some say it is shaped like a fish, and others say it comes from the name of the former owner of the surrounding lands.

A great tower with wonderful views of Fajna Ryba, Kozłowa Góra and Bukowa Góra. To the east we can see the peaks of the Świętokrzyskie Mountains - and what is incredible, in good weather you can see the Tatras, 200 kilometers away from here!

Great view, beautiful panorama, but when riding from the road you have to leave your bike at the bottom - the approach to the tower is very steep, rocky and sandy.

This high-altitude hiking trail runs along a ridge. You always have a view in a northerly direction and then again in a southerly direction. Partly wooded and partly flower meadows. This section of the trail follows the long-distance hiking trail marked in yellow.

The peak belongs to the Crown of the Świętokrzyskie Mountains. You can reach the yellow trail or from Bolmin.
