This is in „Square Désiré Pech“ and the lake is incredibly clear and was full of ducks when we were there. Worth a stop as it‘s very tranquil. It‘s on the outskirts of La Palme heading towards the easy off-road track to Port-la-Novelle.

It's wonderful how the trees are reflected in the Canal des Carrières. Ducks swim in the canal and bring peace and serenity. Not far from there is the 3rd largest port in France and there is a lot of activity there.

Pleasant path to avoid the dangerous stretch of road between La Palme and Port-La-Nouvelle. 100m further, you can turn right to cross the railway line and continue by a small road then the beach to Port-La-Nouvelle.
