The Pierre alignment is composed of three blocks aligned north-south. The one in the central position is of significant size. It is made of granite, 5.35 m high above ground and its weight is estimated at 35 tons. The two menhirs surrounding it come from a single block broken in two by an aplite vein that weakened it. These two blocks, discovered during the excavations of 1991-92, today make this monument unique. The wedge pits for each erected block were found during the excavations. The archaeological finds testify to different periods of occupation between the Neolithic and the Bronze Age.
