Once you've reached this little pass, the hardest part of the climb is over! It's best to ride it in the morning when the sun is just starting to come over the mountain and the air is still fresh! It's well worth it, even with gradients of up to 24%, which meant we had to push our fully loaded bikes for parts of it. The subsequent Route des Crêtes is a dream!
