A relatively recent chapel, with neo-Gothic elements, and a beautiful golden mosaic above the portal. At the moment (May 2026) it has a fresh look of restoration, indeed, the construction site is still active. It is located on the main road that crosses Giaveno coming from Avigliana (via Pacchiotti), impossible to miss: it certainly deserves a moment of attention.

Adolfo Kind is the inventor of Italian downhill skiing. He was the one who brought the first skis to Italy, and it was in these areas that those first pioneers came to test these new tools and learn the new techniques. This tombstone commemorates him. Beside it, a beautiful niche with the Madonna, and a short distance away a beautiful fountain, with drinking water and an inscription on the tap. Right on the road, it's a nice place for a break before the last, daunting kilometers to L'Aquila.

Beautiful monument, which looks even more beautiful when you arrive by bike, because it means the climb is over.

Lovely little hamlet, with old houses, a beautiful church recently restored, a nice playground with mountains in the background and a drinking fountain. Before hurting yourself climbing to the Aquila, or as a reward on the way down, it's worth stopping and enjoying it.
