A lovely and not too taxing climb up the Col from Trets followed by a sublime descent down towards Saint Zacherie. A joyful ride, great scenery, and a quiet, newly resurfaced road.

A lovely, slightly undulating, and recently resurfaced road (D95) skirting the North side of St Baume with very little traffic mid-week. The climb up from Nans-les-Pins is a delight!

Free self-guided tour, opening from 7am, description of the basilica at €0.50 - Magnificent religious building which is well worth the detour and the hour I spent visiting the whole thing.

Since the day was very hot, we were super happy to be able to drink a cold cola down in the village. Very cozy place in front of the town hall.👍

The small town of La Roquebrussane in the Var. There is a wine cooperative near the entrance to the town which produces good wine. The narrow streets of the town are quite pretty. There is also a water fountain in the town if you need to refill your bottles.

The St-Jean-Baptiste church in St-Zacharie dates from the 11th century. It houses the relic "Lou San Sabatoun" (the Holy Shoe of the Virgin) as well as paintings of St-Eloy and the Marriage of the Virgin.
