The Empathic Tree is a 12-metre-high sculpture, half metal, half plant, which will develop in the heart of the city. The intention is to create a biodiverse island in the form of a hybrid tree, where artificial and natural elements will allow the public to discover the life that takes place there, especially that of the birds, thanks to a video system installed in the branches. Inside the stainless steel mesh of the tree are 43 hydroponic capsules containing soil and substrates (fertilisers) that house more than 80 plants.
