This long row of very special half-timbered houses is sensational. Very well preserved, clearly well-maintained, and some very nicely decorated with flowers and all the trimmings. Worth seeing. - Age: almost 300 years old. The town and city walls are considerably older, but after a major fire, the houses had to be rebuilt.

The award ceremony in 2012 is probably more of a publicity stunt or perhaps due to that. After all, the well-known glass artist Werner Kothe was in town and busy working.
