Popular around Linstower Lake
Erich used it for his hunting flights. Believe it or not. In any case, it's a carriage worth seeing, with a supposedly historical background.

Hoenecker Nature Park Nossentiner/Schwinzer Heide. Plau am See. Former hunting carriage of Erich Honecker, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Socialist Unity Party (SED) and Chairman of the State Council of the German Democratic Republic. Today the building operates as a restaurant and hotel. A visit is highly recommended.

In 2023 and 2024 I interrupted my long bike rides here several times for a few swims. Very clear, beautiful water. You can no longer stand at the end of the jetty. Clean water and the bottom is firm and sandy, small climbing plants and no water lilies. One of the most beautiful lakes in the area, I think.
