A lovely boardwalk path with panoramic views of the surrounding woodland and moor. On closer inspection you will see a range of moss and fungi on the ground.

A great area for hiking. I suspect all hell breaks loose here in WInter.

Shortly after the climb out of the ski stadium, the quiet mountain wilderness of Idrefjäll begins: On the circular trail "Fjället runt", you quickly leave the hustle and bustle of the facilities behind and follow the wide gravel path almost alone, before it gently leads back down into the quiet pine forests and moors at the foot of the Fjäll.

The ski stadium on the Idre Fjäll is the starting point for numerous ski trails in this ski area. From 2.5 km to 18 km, classic or skating technique, there is something for everyone. There are also illuminated trails ("lätt spår") here, so you can go cross-country skiing in the evenings after sunset. Just follow the signs (colored diamonds) of the trails and respect the direction, then there is nothing in the way of winter sports.

Here the Burusjöen round trail leads through a small, little overgrown plateau. The view towards Städjan and the white, snowy landscape is great. Also, it is much quieter here in the back than in the mess at the stadium on the Idre Fjäll, so you can enjoy the coziness of cross-country skiing really.

The best part of the Burusjöen-Rundloipe awaits you after you have crossed the road: the long, dead straight down to the lake. Here you can just let the ski run and enjoy the snowy Swedish forest around you.
