The Laus Chapel was built in 1587 and consecrated on August 3, 1592. Its patron saints are Saints Lawrence (Romanesque: Luregn) and Sebastian (Romanesque: Bistgaun). The Capuchins demolished the old church in 1695 and replaced it with a new one. The chapel faces east and has a shallow, barrel-vaulted choir. The nave is covered with a barrel-shaped plaster ceiling. The chapel has a gable roof with a turret crowned with an octagonal pointed spire. The long walls are divided inside and out by blind arches. The dates 1592 and 1695 are inscribed on the façade. The chapel in Laus has three altars. These wooden altars were built around 1695 during the new construction. The high altar depicts the two patron saints, Lawrence and Sebastian, together with St. Francis. The two side altars: on the right, with the image of St. Lucius (who converted as King of Britain and then became the first evangelist in Raetia) and Florinus (a local), on the left, the altar of Our Lady (Queen of Angels). Today, the altar once again features a clothed Madonna and Child. The cornices, windows, and chancel arch are decorated. The Annunciation is depicted on the chancel arch, and in the chancel vault is an image of Our Lady surrounded by the Four Evangelists.

Great view and spectacular lake. Very cold to dip. The route to it is tough, but worth it.
