The hall church, built in 1499, was rebuilt between 1945 and 1948 after its destruction in the Second World War. It consists of a nave, a retracted, three-sided choir in the east, to which a church tower was added at the apex of the choir in 1737. It was extended with a storey with chamfered corners, which houses the tower clock and the bell cage, and covered with an onion dome.

The associated hospital church, originally built in 1499, along with the retirement home, fell victim to air raids in 1945 and was eventually rebuilt in its original state. Until 1920, the hospital also served as the local hospital.
