The architectural project "16 Stations," realized as part of the 2019 Remstal Garden Show, makes the idea of community and diversity along the Remstal valley visible in a truly unique way. White House In the dissolving form of the building, architecture and nature merge to create a place where people and history converge. Waiblingen's city center is characterized by historic half-timbered houses and a picturesque old town. On the nearby banks of the Rems River, at the northern tip of Swan Island, the White House station by J. Mayer H. and Partner from Berlin was created for the 2019 Remstal Garden Show. The walk-in building sculpture engages in a dialogue with the surrounding buildings and the green banks of the Rems. The large opening frames the surroundings and creates a direct visual connection to the cultural promenade along the Rems, which includes the Stihl Gallery Waiblingen, the Lower Remstal Art School, and the House of City History. In the dissolving form of the building, architecture and nature merge to create a place where people and history converge. The architectural project "16 Stations," realized as part of the Remstal Garden Show 2019, vividly illustrates the idea of community and diversity along our municipalities. Harmoniously integrated with the landscape, these meeting places connect the towns and villages in a unique way, while still reflecting their individuality. Curator Jórunn Ragnarsdóttir enlisted renowned architectural firms from across Germany to bring this exciting project to fruition. Architect: J.
