TalaueKunst Weg (WA1) - Remstal Wanderschätze (Hiking Gems)

The TalaueKunst Weg (Talaue Art Trail) is a varied and artistic circular hike that takes you through the Talaue Landscape Park and the old town of Waiblingen. The starting point is the Galerie Stihl Waiblingen bus stop, easily accessible and located directly on the Rems River. From the very beginning, you'll be impressed by historic half-timbered houses, the city wall, and the church hill in the old town.

The trail continues into the Talaue, where you can discover colorful works of art by renowned artists, including the striking "White House" on Swan Island. Along the Rems River, beautifully designed playgrounds, rest areas, and artistic installations such as Paul Bradley's "K5" – a sculptural bench – invite you to take a break. This route is ideal for art lovers, families, and seniors, and the easy-to-follow paths require no special skills.

The tour ends back at the Galerie Stihl. Refreshments along the way are available at the Schwaneninsel beer garden and the Bachofer restaurant, which impresses with innovative cuisine.
