The Hochstein remains one of the most impressive rock formations in the Palatinate, especially since it is less obscured by forest than others. From the top, there is a fantastic view (for climbers).

The "Altes Bahnhöf'l" (Old Railway Station) welcomes visitors with a Gmeinder factory locomotive, sheltered under a canopy on a historic track. Also visible is the front end of an ETA 150 battery-powered railcar (Class 515). The restaurant offers a wide selection of excellent Palatinate dishes, Palatinate wine, and all kinds of other beverages.

Reception and breakfast are held in a railcar, lovingly restored and integrated into the hotel building. In addition to "regular" rooms, you can also spend the night in a railway carriage.

A truly unique overnight accommodation combining a restaurant, holiday apartments, and a hotel. The hotel lobby also features an original Esslingen railway car—a 25-meter-long vintage railcar standing on its own track—stylishly furnished as a hotel reception, bar, and breakfast room.

Cool and shady. A nice rest stop. Not near Fischbach, though, but on the Panima cycle path between Dahn-Reichenbach and Bruchweiler-Bärenbach.
