A truly outstanding estate with a huge gatehouse and numerous outbuildings. The manor house itself resembles a castle. I stumbled upon a magnificent wedding as I pushed my bike through the gate entrance. Weddings probably happen here often. https://www.gutpronstorf.de/geschichte/

Gut Margarethenhof was built at the beginning of the 19th century. It dates back to a complex from 1662, built by Joachim von Brockdorf. Although it doesn't look like it today, the estate is noble. In the past, the complex - like many other estates - was laid out axially, i.e. a manor house in the middle, two barns to its left and right. The left barn (seen from the road) still stands today. You can't go more than a few steps into the driveway. https://efi2.schleswig-holstein.de/dish/dish_pdf/dish_pdfgenerate.php?id=44915

The round tower is unusual, making it a "fortified church." The interior is rather plain.
