Its predecessor was a garden gnome! When the first roundabout in Kelkheim was built at the main cemetery in 2010, there wasn't enough money left for a work of art. A large garden gnome served as a placeholder. Apparently, many people didn't understand that it was meant to be funny, and Fred, the garden gnome, was vandalized several times. The story even made television. So how surprised the residents of Kelkheim were when, one morning, a large female figure with raised arms and outstretched wings appeared on the traffic island! The figure is the work of metalworker Luigi Mulé from Kelkheim. It's made of sheet metal and is very heavy. Twenty friends had to help to secretly install the figure on the roundabout overnight. The figure is now permanently mounted. And the residents of Kelkheim have even given it a name: Roundabout Angel.

The Kelkheim main cemetery was inaugurated in 1972. The overall design of the complex was conceived by the city architect, Franz Ball. The chapel and mortuary with its adjoining building were designed by the architect Friedrich E. Rosenberg and constructed of textured concrete. Large glass walls separate the interior of the chapel from the forecourt. The lectern, candlesticks, and cross were crafted by the Kelkheim wood sculptor J. Klarmann. In 2007, the Hessian State Office for the Preservation of Historical Monuments recognized the chapel at the Kelkheim main cemetery as a historical monument and listed it in the "Main-Taunus" monument inventory. A commemorative plaque was then installed. The funeral chapel was officially recognized as a historical monument by the Hessian State Office for the Preservation of Historical Monuments and listed in the "Main-Taunus" monument inventory.

Sandarium at the Liederbach stream in Sindlinger Wiesen with three benches for resting and observing. A sandarium is a specially designed habitat for wild bees and other insects that require open, sandy soil for nesting. It consists of sand-filled areas or boxes, often placed in sunny and sheltered locations, allowing the bees to dig their nesting burrows undisturbed. Sandariums are easy to maintain, promote biodiversity, and make an important contribution to the protection of pollinating insects.
