You can ride wonderfully along the Schwarzbach (up to the mouth). Great with children and especially on hot days. Mostly in the shade and the stream cools additionally!

One of the important bridges and thus crossings over the country road. Not particularly pretty, but ideal for or from Kriftel.

"Checked Off" is a large stone sculpture by the sculptor Thomas Reifferscheid, located in the Kellereiplatz (Cellar Square) near the Old Water Castle in Hofheim. It was created in 2013 as part of the Hofheim Art Association's stone sculpture symposium, where several artists spent four weeks working on striking pieces for the urban space. 👉 The sculpture depicts an oversized hook made of gneiss from southern Sweden – partly roughly hewn, partly highly polished – and plays with the contrast between perfection and imperfection. The title "Checked Off" symbolically alludes to our questions about what has already been accomplished and what remains to be done.
