The source and the headwaters of the Bolldammbach can only be reached "off-grid". A very beautiful spot near the Ringsthof. But whether you want to expose yourself to the wrath of the unfriendly and even malicious landowners is something everyone has to decide for themselves.

After the memorial cross, the path should lead to the Baringhof and past it. However, the young farmer is waiting there who has something to compensate for and instead of a greeting he offers you "police, ban on entry, damages and violence" if you try to pass the farm outside the fence. Because experience has shown that it makes little sense to speak out against stupidity and aggression, you turn around and go a little further back past the edge of the forest or even further up through the forest at the Rirsen barrier....he probably won't be happy about that either and because there are hunting facilities there, the dike master will certainly be grumpy if he finds you there.

The planetary path starts at the Jöllenbeck secondary school and ends at the highest point in the town of Enger on the Ringsthof grounds. The last planet of the solar system - Neptune - is installed there. It forms the end point of the 3 km long route and also offers a good vantage point towards Enger and the Wiehengebirge.

On February 16, 1945, the Bielefeld Kleinbahn passenger train was bombed at this point. The second carriage of the train was completely destroyed in the attack and 19 people were found dead. The memorial cross and information board are intended to commemorate the unnecessary deaths of civilians.

The Liesbergmühle is in a very well-maintained condition and can also be milled! It was founded in 1756 by the Prussian state as a royal mill. The surrounding farmers had to have their grain milled here. Violations were severely punished. There are many information boards on the mill site that also describe the outbuildings. There is also an interesting audio contribution via QR code. The seating options with a view of the Widukindstadt Enger are also nice.
