In summer, self-service drinks are available at the alpine hut. The cash register for drinks and donations is on the wall inside the hut. 🙂 A beautiful little hike. Also easy to manage with a small child. Be careful, though, on the steep slopes towards the stream. Always let your child walk towards the mountain, not the slope. ❣️

A very cozy cottage. Friendly welcome from the hut team and a good kitchen. The camps were separated, so there was a bit more privacy.

On hikes in the beautiful Valsertal nature reserve, you can stop off at the Geraer Hütte or even set up camp for the night. There is a climbing garden for climbing enthusiasts. You can reach it via approaches through the Valsertal, the Schmirntal or the Zillertal. You can find more information about the hut here https://www.geraerhuette.at.

Rustic and like from earlier times, the small, unmanaged huts on this beautiful alpine pasture are in front of you. A perfect place for a rest and the consumption of snacks you have brought with you.
