The station was built between 1911 and 1913 according to plans by the architect Hans Granichstaedten. The elongated, one- to two-story station building, designed in the Heimatstil style, features a clock tower with an octagonal lantern on the street side above the entrance to the ticket hall. During the 2014/2015 restoration, the facade of the station building was painted in its original colors, as it had originally been – inspired by the Vienna Stadtbahn station buildings. In front of the station, there are bus stops, taxis, parking spaces, and a Billa supermarket opposite for shopping! The building also has restrooms and a waiting area with seating.
