We enjoyed the beautiful view from Fellberg, the new ski lift seems to be finished. The entire plateau did not look very inviting, everything was closed, probably there is only a bear dancing there on weekends. 😉 We quickly continued on our Griffelpfad, but made a short detour to the monument on the Fellberg summit. The Touringen stamp hangs 100 meters further on at a crossroads - for whatever reason. 🤔

The tea house at the moated castle will unfortunately be permanently closed from 2026. In the future, the café in the Old House in Neundorf will only be open every Sunday.

Anyone who wants to travel to Neuhaus am Rennweg should take the train. For me, after the Brockenbahn, it's the best route I've ever taken. Plus, the downhill section is beautiful from here.
