It's fascinating how this works. The ferry is free and runs when the road is clear.

At the bridge over the Acher (Feldbach), several hundred meters of the water were restored to their natural state. In the spring and summer months, you can relax on the bench and enjoy the idyllic atmosphere.

The forest lake in the Lichtenau-Muckenschopf district is a standing body of water without any special protection status (see the Baden-Württemberg State Office for the Environment). There is no information online about the layer of formation. According to the information board, the lake is not allowed to be used. The rotten wooden benches on the lake shore stimulate the imagination and may provide information about better times at the lake in the past. When we visit in January 2025, we cannot walk around the small lake. Due to the high water level, the path on the west bank is under water.
