A beautiful ford, which invites you to cross and swim, but be careful, the stones can be slippery, especially if you want to cross them on a bike and you might get wet feet.

After a year of construction, the renovated, listed station building and the new tourist information building were opened in 2017. Since then, the building has housed the Tourist Information Office and the Ruhpolding Tourism Association. The station building was inaugurated on August 17, 1895, when the first train ran on the local railway to Traunstein, connecting Ruhpolding to the main Rosenheim-Salzburg line. The extension of the railway to Reit im Winkl and then across the border to Kufstein, planned around 1880, was never realized. Only a narrow-gauge line to Reit im Winkl, the State Forest Railway, was built in 1922.

A very nice playground in the municipality of Inzell with a picnic area and restrooms. But the best part is the play equipment. 😎
