The Stallwiesalm is easily accessible from Sölden, both by road and via somewhat steeper forest trails. The alpine pasture appears to be very well-maintained and offers a wonderful view. Due to the inclement weather, we stayed for a few hours and sampled the menu. All the dishes were delicious and attractively presented with attention to detail. Furthermore, the couple who run the place are not only very friendly but also incredibly helpful. When the weather didn't improve on our descent, the friendly landlady picked us up in her car and drove us to the parking lot in the valley, thus saving us from a painful descent in pouring rain and hail. We would like to thank you once again for the heroic rescue operation! The Stallwiesalm is definitely booked for our next visit to Sölden!
