Nice view.We didn,t walk the whole trail because of the bad weather .

The route is misleading, ending at a very dangerous, steep rocky slope. The correct path leads directly along the radar station fence at the top, and you don't have to enter the fenced area.

Be sure to stop by Nikos in Agora. Close to the square. Delicious meze, home-made wine and raki. Very nice atmosphere. Wonderful!

This is a place where carcasses are laid out as food for the vultures.

However, you then find yourself in front of a locked gate. Like so many things on Crete, it's very strange - a well-maintained path and then the gate is closed. However, a few meters to the right of the gate, the fence has been knocked over. So if you want, you can take a closer look at the Minoan summit sanctuary.

Archanes is located about twelve kilometers south of Heraklion at the foot of Mount Giouchtas. With the Dikti Mountains in the background, it is a beautiful view.

Be careful when driving up to the parking lot!! There is a “level” at which the car could be damaged.
