War memorial located in a green area on the Schlossberg: an octagonal temple with a dome, with images of steel helmets on oak leaves on the exterior, with bayonets pointing downwards below, and memorial plaques inside. At the rear of the green area is a kneeling figure, with commemorative plaques next to it, some arranged in a cross shape. The complex was restored between 2014 and 2022. This stately half-timbered house, built in 1706, stands on the corner of "Goldene Röhrengasse." The builder must have been a pious man, because he had three medallions with mysterious, carved letter sequences attached to the house. The letters are then grouped together in a square and arranged so that, when read from top to bottom and crisscross, they form the same sequences as in the medallions. The meaning of the letter sequences is difficult to guess. But it has been handed down. The pious sayings that result from them point to the house owner's Christian stance. The invention of the letter game was certainly a masterpiece. In former times, Zeysendorf village stood here. The memorial stone stands in the immediate vicinity of the original meadow, right next to an information board about the flora and fauna of the dry slopes. A beautiful trail leads to the original meadow. It's a lovely spot, especially when everything is in bloom.
