Fun for both dog and owner. Unfortunately, they have a trash can nearby, and there are plenty of dog (poo) bags scattered around the ground. It's still partly the dog owner's responsibility to leave it clean.

In 2019, a semi-open shelter was built with seating, made of Douglas wood. The new shelter can be reached via the footpath on the west side of the Kesseven, called "Het Miezerige paadje". The shelter was built by Houthandel Van Dal from Esbeek, commissioned by (the Belgian) foundation Natuur & Bos. Het Miezerige Paadje is a narrow small path along the banks of the Kesseven and the Klotven. The path is about a kilometer long and runs through a wooded area. The path can sometimes be a bit muddy, but it is a beautiful place to walk or cycle. The path offers beautiful views over the fens and the forest.

Dogs must be kept on a leash throughout the forest, but here they can run, jump, roll, etc. to their heart's content. It is a super large fenced area with several entrances.
