The boardwalk is located in the Stellmoor section of the trail that leads from the Arnesvelde ruin towards Ahrensburg or towards Höltigbaum/Hagen. Depending on the dryness, the boardwalk floats or rests on the moor. You should not cycle here, as you will slip in wet conditions or endanger pedestrians.

A very tough section with a gravel bike. The paths directly along or across the meadow are bumpy. Nevertheless, the meadow is a good change and I enjoy riding it. The originally cordoned-off old ammunition depot has been open for passage since this year. Take a look!

The Galloways are part of what makes Höltigbaum so charming. Isn't it lovely to drive through the self-closing gates and then come across the cattle? I remember very well that I even drove back every now and then because I was too close to the animals...
