The boardwalk is located in the Stellmoor section of the trail that leads from the Arnesvelde ruin towards Ahrensburg or towards Höltigbaum/Hagen. Depending on the dryness, the boardwalk floats or rests on the moor. You should not cycle here, as you will slip in wet conditions or endanger pedestrians.

The bridge itself is practical and is close to the "Ahrensburg West" subway station. Unfortunately, it is incredibly dirty there. There is an American burger shop next door and there is dirt from the takeaway food on the stairs and all over the parking lot.
